Ximending, Taipei {12.03.2013}:
We touched down in TaoYuan International Airport at 1pm and it took us almost an hour to get to Ximending, where our hotel was located. However, the check in time for our hotel is a little odd. We can only check in at 4pm.
We are famished. We left our luggage at the concierge and went to look for food. This is our second time to Ximending. Luckily we still able to locate the stall that was recommended by our tour guide during our last trip.
We had the 魚酥羹 that looks like bean curd in thick soup but it's not bean curd. It's made of fish. The soup was sweet and thick. It is a nice pairing with the fish.
We also ordered 甜不辣. There are different kind of seafood in that bowl which I'm not sure what is it.
The stall next to this is a stall selling fried oyster 蠔煎 and fried radish cake. My family loves the fried radish cake but I didn't take any photo because radish cake looks the same anywhere, no?
